The State University of Haiti (UEH) is located in Port-au-Prince, capital of the country and the centre of the intellectual and political life of the nation. Create in 1920, the UEH was reorganized in 1960 and, according to the new constitution of 1986, is an autonomous institution. The UEH, with public and private Colleges approved by the State distributes the Higher education in Haiti. It counts seven faculties (Agronomy and Veterinaries, Law and Economics, Ethnology, Medicine and Pharmacy, Odontology, Human sciences) and three institutes-schools (Ecole Normale Supérieure, Institute of African Researches, INAGHEI).  It also publishes its own publications: Bulletin de l'Université d'Etat d'Haïti et Bulletin de l’INAGHEI
